Objectives

 NSA 1 - 1. TLW study the proportions of the hand.

 NSA 2 - 2. TLW create a hand drawing using multiple drawing styles and media.

 NSA 1 - 3. TLW study the proportions of the feet.

 NSA 1 - 4. TLW study the proportions of the face.

 NSA 1 - 5. TLW study the proportions of the human body.

 NSA 2 -  6. TLW study different medium areas and apply those techniques in developing a piece that requires them to use hand tools in a different manner than everyday life.

 NSA 1, 2, 3, - 7. TLW study the 1-point and 2-point perspective line drawings and create a city landscape.

 NSA 5 -  8. TLW research a variety of sources for editorial cartoons.

 NSA 2, 3 -  9. TLW create a drawing that is composed of a variety of line techniques.

NSA 4, 5 - 10. TLW develop an awareness of drawing as used by various cultures throughout the world (media, materials and significance).

NSA 3, 4 - 11. TLW apply specific criteria in judging the quality of a drawing.

(craftsmanship, line, quality, value, textural expression, etc.)
